Hello, I did simple program which updates your save.adf file. It will download a file and copy to *:\Program Files\Amiga SWOS\Disks\save.adf, just run Save-Updater.exe you can download it here: http://sa-mp.yoyo.pl/Save-Updater.exe  or here:  http://rapidshare.de/files/21525237/Save-Updater.exe.html

Ok.. now bug is fixed and it works! Download: http://sa-mp.yoyo.pl/Save-Updater.exe  copy this file to your disk folder, then create a shortcut to save-updater.exe on desktop.. that`s all have fun. For updating just run your shortcut, wait a few seconds and save.adf will be updated.

Hi everybody.
I'm completely new to this forum, my Amiga and SWOS times are quiet soem years old...
Can't belive starting play in SWOS again afetr all these years... but that's another thing.

My question may be as simple as stupid.
For what do I need the updater?  Huh Roll Eyes
I downloaded the package yesterday, is the updaded version already included?

Thanks

the updater is included in the new online package! With this updater you can update your save.adf with the current tactics from all players on it.

This is important for online gaming, as everybody has to play with the same save disc, due to synchronization... Wink

Thanks for your quick reply.
So all I need to do is to run the updater from time to time or before every online match??

Thanks mate.
I'm completely new here and it's bit hard to find our all the relating facts in the forums.
Perhaps an F.A.Q. for beginners would be good (e.g. explain the different versions of the downladable game etc.)

But it's great that people do professional work for such a specialized community which loves an old computer games.
Just saw that kind of "love" just for Tipp-Kick before.
GREAT!

Hope I can find time to join some online try games in the next days, but have to train first...  Grin

I did new version of save disk update which looks better and more professional:

If you want to use it just replace update.exe file in your disk folder, download it here: http://swos.host.sk/update.exe
