Hi Luti10.

I'm back on the scene and want to test Windows 7 with SWOS and perhaps make another guide to running like my one with an amazing 12,000+ views.

I am going to look into it as soon as I find my Windows 7 RC1 DVD that's lying around the flat somewhere.

Managed to get SWOS Amiga Online to work on Win7.
HW is an AMD Phenom II 955 which is a QuadCore Proz....

Like on XP I made good experiences running SWOS only on one core...

1. get the launch.exe from here: http://www.heise.de/software/download/launch.exe/61185

2. Assuming your have placed your SWOS in C:\AmigaSWOS, so place the launch exe in this directory and  modify your SWOS.exe like this:

C:\AmigaSWOS\Launch.exe C:\AmigaSWOS\ASWOS.exe /a=2 (Careful with Blanks in directorys - then you have put your path in " ")

This means, SWOS runs on the second, and only on the second core....
No compatibility mode needed. FPS are constantly on 50 FPS.

3. Go ahead and play. ADF  Grin

Had a bad experience with SWOS 96/97 PC version on XP SP3 last night. Couldn't get the thing to work through latest DOSBOX with the new D-Fend Reloaded project - even with imported known working settings!!

Reverted back to DOSBOX v0.63 and the original D-Fend and I'm back up and running like nothing ever happened.

I'll look into it a bit further.
