Can you use a Compietition Pro USB Joystick?
But the Comp Pro USB is SHIT! Not comparable with the original!

Thanks Playaveli. Are you on the XBox360 sometimes, or did you kick it out the window?

This download sounds to good to be true. I hope, I can get it to work on my PC. That would be a dream.

I have a problem. I want to edit the names in the editor. According to the instructions I clicked the [open] button and browsed to [c:\SwosEdit] but I don't see the [data] folder. Help me

Hi christophek, before you use the editor, make sure you have double clicked: C:\SWOS\Disks\Custom\swos.hdf highlight all files\folders (including the data folder) and do a [control-c] to copy then paste into [c:\SwosEdit] now open swos editor and browse to the data folder

Hi Sociopatic,
I think the batchfile got stuck in a loop because you dont have full administrator rights on Windows XP, is this the case? If so, you probably don't have a SWOS StartMenu folder either. In this case, re-download the Swos installer from this thread (i've updated it since your first download). When the batchfile appears, read the section on running the installer on XP with admin rights. You need to run a command, and you'll need to know the administrator password.

Latest download now has the new 2010-11 English Premiership players (up to Manchester City's Signings of Mario Balotelli & James Milner). Aswell as the lastest English National team. Lower divisions, and other countries are a little dated.

I've downloaded this package and for the first time for nearly 2 years I have a version of SWOS that works on my pc!! Thanks very much!
Now I have a question: to play online, there used to be an online custom teams savedisk. I can't work out if this is in the online version in this package in 96/97 or Custom, or indeed how to update it if necesary. I may be missing something, but can you help me out please? Any advice would be appreciated!

Thanks mate. I was thinking there could be problems of having multiple versions of swos on the pc for online play...but I will test it and try it.
Just checked the records, and my last online match (ooo) was 30.10.2008!!
