It has been a year marked by industry acclaim and recognition as Betsson Group emerges as a true leader in the iGaming industry. During 2023, Betsson Group has been recognised by a remarkable array of distinguished awards, affirming its commitment to excellence, innovation, and responsible gaming practices.

One of the standout achievements at the start of the year was securing the coveted Top Employer 2023 award from the Top Employer Institute. This accolade underscores Betsson’s dedication to creating an outstanding workplace environment, fostering professional growth and well-being among its employees.

Soon after that, the International Gaming Awards 2023 showcased Betsson Group’s commitment to responsible gaming, with the company receiving the Safer Gambling Operator of the Year award. Simultaneously, its leadership in sports betting was recognised with the prestigious Sports Betting Operator title.

The EGR Nordics Awards 2023 witnessed Betsson Group’s dominance in six different categories, including Employer of the Year and Operator of the Year. Betsson’s innovative marketing campaigns and affiliate programme also received due recognition, showcasing its comprehensive excellence across various operational facets.

For the first time in the history of the EGR Operator Awards 2023, a category recognising the Operator with the best Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) Strategy of the Year was introduced, and Betsson Group clinched this prestigious award. This milestone emphasises Betsson’s commitment to sustainability and responsible business practices.

Beyond the collective wins, key individuals from Betsson Group’s leadership team were honoured with special awards, underscoring the calibre of leadership within the organisation. Jesper Svensson, CEO of Betsson Operations, earned the title of Executive of the Year at the Global Gaming Awards 2023. Lena Nordin, Chief Human Resources Officer, received the prestigious Outstanding Contribution to the Industry award at the Women in Gaming, Diversity Awards 2023. In Latin America, Andrea Rossi, the LatAm Commercial Director at Betsson Group, was honoured as Leader of the Year at the SBC Awards Latinoamérica 2023 while Andre Gelfi from Betsson Brazil received an Honourable Mention in the Responsible Gaming category at the SiGMA Americas Awards 2023.

At the SBC Awards LatinoAmérica 2023, Betsson Group was also recognised as the Casino Operator of the Year and Marketing Campaign of the Year, emphasising its strategic success and market prominence in the region.
