Betsson is proud to announce that it is supporting the Consumer Protection Zone (CPZ) at ICE London 2023 – the world’s largest iGaming event. The CPZ is a focal point at the show, dedicated to showcasing innovation in safer gaming and to a dialogue on how to improve approaches to responsible gaming and sustainability. The proceeds from the donations of participating companies goes to charitable organisations dedicated to consumer protection.
Located in a prime location at ExCeL (N1), the CPZ and the brands associated with it will benefit from high visibility to the show visitors, highlighting that safer gaming is at the core of what we do. Betsson Group is committed to promoting responsible gaming and is proud to align itself with the consumer protection and safer gaming message at this renowned event.

“We are honoured to support the Consumer Protection Zone at ICE London, one of the leading events on the iGaming calendar. This decision reflects our unwavering commitment to promoting the important topic of safer gaming. The Consumer Protection Zone has become a central platform to raise awareness and educate the industry on the importance of responsible gaming, and we are proud to be part of this initiative. We believe that it is essential for the industry to work together to promote responsible gaming and showcase the work that is being done as it is fundamental for the long-term sustainability of the industry and the well-being of our customers,” said Roderick Spiteri Schillig, Head of Communications at Betsson Group. “We look forward to participating in the upcoming event and to the opportunity to share ideas with other industry leaders and regulators from around the world.”
Speaking about Betsson’s support, Ewa Bakun, Director of Industry Insight and Engagement at Clarion Gaming, said, “I am thrilled to welcome Betsson to the list of donors contributing to the Consumer Protection Zone at ICE and thus helping us support the critical work of the gambling charities, beneficiaries of the fund. The enthusiastic involvement of an established brand like Betsson, celebrating its 60th anniversary this year, in both the CPZ fund and the CPZ agenda, adds even more gravitas to the CPZ profile, goes a long way in demonstrating the company’s commitment to sustainability and social responsibility and, of course, gets us closer to achieving our fund-raising target.”
Betsson is joining a growing list of companies that have sponsored the CPZ to date, helping to raise close to £150,000 over the last three years. The funds raised in previous years were distributed to five charities: YGAM, Gordon Moody, Responsible Gambling Council, Better Change and Gamcare.
Some of the exhibitors at the Consumer Protection Zone 2023 include, Gambling Commission, Gamcare, Responsible Gambling Council, Gordon Moody, Gamstop, National Council on Responsible Gambling, YGAM, and Betknowmore.
