Now in their 20th year, the EGR Operator Awards celebrate and reward B2C operators for setting the standard in several categories. They recognise those companies that are driving innovative solutions and delivering market leading products and services within the gaming industry.
In-play sports operator
For this category, the judging panel rewarded the operator (Betsson Group) that has developed a product that stands out from the crowd, and provided a significant boost to sportsbook revenue in this vitally important sector of the business. Innovation and strength in mobile and tablet was a key criteria for assessment. The panel also looked at the breadth of markets offered and the ability to offer in-play on multiple platforms. Some of the key criteria included growth and commercial success of the product, its innovation and differentiation, the on and offline marketing strategy used, as well as the breadth of markets and platforms offered.
Diversity & inclusion model
This award recognises the operator or affiliate that demonstrated its commitment to diversity and inclusion. The award honoured the organisation that puts workforce engagement at the heart of their business strategy, communicating a strategy that provided clear support and inclusion for all. Some of the key criteria that judges looked at included the details of D&I strategy, the positive impacts on representation and retention, as well as employee engagement, education, and commitment.
The winners of the EGR Operator 2022 Awards were announced at the awards ceremony in London on 27th October 2022.
